Crazy Days

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days. Life has just been crazy. I ended up in labor & delivery again two nites ago. I didn't get home until 4:30 am. I was getting contractions every 3 minutes or so. Luckily the contractions were non-productive, meaning they weren't dialating me or anything. I got an IV and some fluids. It took awhile but they eventually slowed down and I got sent home.

When I got home I was on an adrenaline kick. I couldn't sleep to save my life so I got some things done around the house and played around on facebook. It was an okay day motivation wise. I did take 2 one hour long cat naps yesterday which I needed.

I sent Nikolas and Alex to Danielle's yesterday. Erek had a poker dealing job downstate and with having gone to the hospital the nite before I just didn't feel comfortable having 3 small children here with Erek so far away. So far it's worked out good, Andrew was pretty bored all nite without his brother to play with.

I didn't get very much done yesterday. I know that I need to get this house in ship shape condition just encase this lil boy decides to make his appearance early. I did get most of the dining room done, I just need to mop the floor. I did play around in facebook for quite a while yesterday. I finally ended up going to sleep about 1:30 am.

I'm wired again this morning and hope to get a ton done today. I want to get at least finish the dining room, get the living room, kitchen, garage entry, 1/2 bath, and laundry room done today. If I can really kick it into high gear I'd like to get the basement stairway, playroom, family room and basement hallway done today too. Plus I need to get a bunch of laundry done. Well I'm uber motivated right now so I'm going to get busy! Toodles!

Very Productive Day

I had an awesome day yesterday! I was so productive and motivated. It was amazing. I got my morning routine out of the way quickly, straightened the master closet, cleaned the master bathroom, cleaned and straightened the master bedroom, and made dinner. My back was hurting like crazy but I pushed through it and continued working. The kids were pretty good for me with Erek being gone overnite...had a little problem getting them to bed but when I said bed they both got in bed and went to sleep. Then I relaxed and learned about some thunderstorms coming into the area so I went to sleep so I would sleep through it. It worked out well.

Today I woke up and didn't get anything done but play on Facebook. Then I took a little cat nap. Woke up late and high tailed it to my OB appointment. I worked on writing out my to-do list while waiting for the doc to come in. My appointment went great, Dr. Danz is an awesome doctor. I got scheduled for a 32 week ultrasound which will happen on Erek's birthday. I'm excited to get another ultrasound! It's to make sure that everything is okay with the baby after my history with Alex. I have invited my stepmom and aunt to join us for the ultrasound, and Grandma and Grandpa Jim are going to watch Nikolas and Alex while we're at the ultrasound.

Today I want to get the the entryway, dining room, living room, and kitchen. I also want to get a lot of laundry done...and make dinner. I do have bowling tonight which will be a blast without any pain meds. But I'll have to make due. Tonight is the fun nite for bowling. We get to play 9-pin no-tap and have the perfect attendance shoot out. I hope I win one this time. Well I'd better get busy so I have another productive day. Toodles!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Well yesterday was my birthday. All in all it was a good day, but I was severly unmotivated. I didn't do much of anything. My back was hurting so bad, especially last nite and I sat most of the day. I did call the ob office about getting more pain meds and they said no so I'm SOL for about 2 weeks. I will just have to learn to cope with the pain. 3 more months and this baby will be here...I hope I can make it that long.

I went birthday shopping for myself yesterday. I bought myself a Cricut Expression, the Jukebox, the Design Studio, and some new cartridges. I was going to work on scrapbooking my control journal last nite but realized I had typed up my control journal on my mac, which Nikolas took the keys off the keyboard. So instead I worked on typing up a new control journal so I can just read what I need to print on the cricut machine and go from there. I tried installing the Design Studio but everytime I go to open it, it says this program needs to close and it never opens. So I'm gonna have to call the cricut company and figure out what's going on with that or ask for a refund.

I am super motivated this morning. I hope to get the master closet, master bathroom, master bedroom, entryway and dining room done today. Ok the baby is done eating so I'm gonna get busy! Toodles!

Happy Easter

Yesterday was Easter. I got up and tried to get started but ended up back in bed and slept till noonish. When I did get up I got motivated and got most of my morning routine done. After I was ready, I got the kids dressed and ready to go to my grandparents for Easter dinner. We went to grandpa Jim's and had a very nice time. Grandma Barb always does a fabulous job cooking! When we got home I slug butted it all day long. I finally laid down in my bed and watched my shows and went to sleep.

Today is my birthday! I woke up and found that Nikolas had taken a whole row of keys off my keyboard! That little stinker has struck again. I yelled for Erek to get up and he didn't as usual. I hate the fact that I can't do anything to repremand Nikolas right now. I hate the fact that I have to resort to spanking but it's the only thing I can do with being pregnant, having a bad back, stairs to contend with. It's not like I can just keep putting him back in timeout. It would be the end of me physically. So this morning I went shopping for myself for my birthday. I bought myself the bigger Cricut machine, the Cricut software, and some new cartridges all for me! Anyway I'm starting to get motivated and the baby has fallen asleep without finishing his bottle so I'm going to get busy.

Today I want to focus on the upstairs and laundry and scrapbooking. I'll start in the office and then do the kid's bathroom, their bedrooms, the hallway and stairway and will alternate laundry in between each room. Hope everyone has a great day!

Crazy Days

Well I did it. With the help of Donielle (my mother's helper) this house looked great for the party. Everyone behaved themselves for the most part, except my grandma, she made one comment that urked me but other than that everything went perfectly. Andrew had a great party and really enjoyed his birthday.

We did have kind of a scare with the pregnant the nite before the party. I wasn't feeling any movement so I went to L&D and got hooked up to the monitors. His heartrate was strong and he started moving so that was a relief. I was getting some contractions while at the hospital. They checked my cervix and I'm not dialated at all which was a huge relief. I was told to go home and take a bath and take it easy. So I did just that...but I didn't sleep very well. Andrew joined us in bed and was grinding his teeth which kept me up. Then Nikolas joined us in bed and I had no room to sleep so I ended up getting up at 4:30 am. I got busy right away on the house, getting it cleaned for the party. I'm happy it went so well. Grandpa Jim and Grandma Barb saw the new house for the first time and loved it! They are very proud of Erek and I for moving and that feels so good to have the support of someone. After the party I laid down and took a nap because my back was hurting so bad. I ended up going to bed at like 9:30.

Today is not going as planned. I slept in a little bit and haven't gotten much done. I'm out of my pain med so I'm going thru withdrawls today which is probably what my problem is. I just really need to work on laundry today. Today is Easter so I need to get myself ready, the boys ready and be to my grandparents in an hour and a half. So I'm going to leave this post as it is and get busy! Toodles!

A Pretty Good Day

I started out strong! I got the front porch cleaned and the dining room cleaned and organized. Then I went to start on the living room and my back started hurting. By the end of the nite I was in urgent care because my back was out. They gave me some medicated patches to alleviate the pain and boy are they nice! I was pain free after about an hour of putting the patches on. My aunt came and took Alex for last nite and tonight. I already miss that lil boy. My mom stayed with the two older boys while I was at urgent care. Man is my mom is BITCH. She didn't say anything about the master bedroom or dining room being clean...just that she thought that with me having a nicer house I would take better care of my house. And that I don't need to be scrapbooking, I need to be cleaning...WTF! I have been working my tail off to get this house cleaned, unpacked and organized all she can be is negative. I'm about to tell my aunt that I'm done with my mom. That she can come to Andrew's birthday party but after that I'm done. I just don't need to listen to her bitch so much and be so negative! All I can do at this point is ignore her and let what she says go in one ear and out the other...but it's so difficult because she's my mom.

Now that my back isn't hurting I plan to get a ton done today. We are having that birthday party here tomorrow at 2 and I want to be proud of this house, not embarrassed by it's appearance. So I plan to focus on the living room, kitchen, garage entryway, 1/2 bath, and laundry room today. If I can get to the basement area that's great, if not people don't need to go down there. Anyway I'd better get busy! I'll leave it for now and post again tomorrow! Toodles!

A So-So Day

Well I started out strong yesterday and got the master bedroom cleaned and the entryway. Then my back started hurting and I laid down to help the back situation and I sputtered out. Erek got home yesterday afternoon and it was great to have him home. I did spend some quality time with him yesterday evening before bowling and that was nice.

Today I plan on working on the front porch, dining room, living room, kitchen, garage entryway, 1/2 bathroom, and laundry room. It's suppose to be a very nice day out today so if I get all of those done I'm going to work on the yard some...that's if my back will cooperate. I plan to scrapbook after the kids go to bed and while Erek is at work tonight. I'm making a control journal scrapbook and I want to get it finished so I can start using it! Anyway I'll leave it at that and I had best get busy! Toodles!

Another Awesome Day!!

What has gotten into me. I'm not complaining about it, I think it's great! I got the upstairs hallway done yesterday, the master closet mostly unpacked, clothes hung, and vacuumed in there...I also got the entire master bathrooms cleaned and unpacked and organized. That's a big feat with the large shower and even larger tub in there but it's done! I wanted to work on my bedroom too but the kids fell asleep in there on the floor way early and I just didn't want to disturb them. So first on my list of priorities today is the master bedroom. I also hope to get the entryway, front porch, and dining room done today. If I'm super motivated which I seem to be at the moment I'd also like to get the living room and kitchen done today too. I also need to work on some laundry. It will get there slowly! I am so proud of myself for working so hard to make this house a home!

Erek comes home this evening and I'm surprised but I've missed him. I think I'm falling back in love with my husband! It's been a long 3 days or so without him. The kids have been relatively well behaved so I haven't missed him due to that, which is awesome. Anyway the baby is almost done eating his bottle so I'm going to leave you for now and get some things accomplished. First up is my Morning Routine! Toodles till tomorrow!

Awesome Day Yesterday

I had an awesome and productive day yesterday. I was in good spirits and got a lot done. Nikolas's room is now clean and straightened; Alex's room is clean and straightened; the stairway is done; I got acouple loads of dishes and laundry done! I even got a decent amount of scrapbooking done! I went to bed early and got a good nites sleep so I would be ready to go today.

Today I hope to get the upstairs hallway done; then that floor will be DONE! I also hope to get the master closet, master bathroom, master bedroom, entryway, front porch and dining room done today along with some dishes and laundry. I'm feeling very energetic today and hope I can get all of that done. If not as long as I put in a valiant effort and accomplished some of it, it can always go on tomorrow's list. I think I will have this house ready for the part on Saturday! Ok it's time to get Nikolas's diaper changed and get busy with my morning routine and the rest of my list! Toodles for now!

Got Lots Done Yesterday

Yesterday I was super motivated. I got the office straightened, the kid's bathroom cleaned, Andrew's room straightened and cleaned, and got a lot of unpacking done in the master closet. All in all it was a fantastic day. I even got some scrapbooking and cross-stitching done! I'm feeling the same drive today so hopefully I can get just as much if not more done today. We are having a birthday party here on Saturday for Andrew so I want this house presentable. At least as much as it can be with having just moved 3 weeks ago.

Today I plan on cleaning and straightening Nikolas's room, Alex's room, the hallway, the stairway, finishing the master closet, getting the master bathroom done, and the master bedroom. Add into that the fact that Erek is gone till Wednesday morning moving Mackenzie and her mom back so I get all of the child related responsibilities too, but I'm keeping a positive attitude about it and should be able to deal with it all. Okay I'm going to get busy. I'm off to shower and make myself presentable then clean Nikolas's room. Toodles for now!

Haven't Done Much

Well the last two days have been a wash for the most part. I've been very sluggish. I got some good sleep last nite and I'm motivated today so we'll see how today goes.

Yesterday, I had to deal with an issue with my husband. He didn't come home or call or text me the nite before last and I was mad and upset and my mind wandered to thoughts of him cheating. I just don't trust him very much right now because of past history. It sucks waking up without him hear and the kids asking where he is...and I don't have an answer for them. So we had a long talk yesterday and got things sorted out.

Andrew's birthday is in 6 days and I'm going to have a gathering here for cake, ice cream and presents. So I have a lot to do to get this house ready for company. I'm motivated right now so I'm going to make this post short and get some things done! Toodles!

Started out strong and then fizzled!!

I started out strong yesterday and then fizzled right out. I didn't sleep the night before last so I had to keep myself moving or I would fall asleep. I can't even remember what all I got done yesterday morning now come to think of it. It was a lot tho! Then I laid down on the bed and I was out. I slept until 10 am this morning! That's almost 24 hours. Now I feel like I've slept to much but that'll pass. I must get busy today and get some cleaning, organizing, and unpacking done. It's like I got the upstairs done and then said, nope that's it...but I can't let that happen so I must chug along and get past these barriers I keep putting up for myself.

Today I plan on focusing on the basics, a little bit of cleaning, getting the master closet unpacked and my scrapbooking paper organized. I can do this! I want to do this...and I have to do this! And I will! Toodles for now!

Got Some Cleaning Done

Yesterday was pretty productive but not so much on the packing aspect of things. I got the dishwasher unloaded and loaded, worked on my CJ for a long time, swished and swiped the 1/2 bathroom, decluttered, swept, and wetjetted the entryway floor by the garage, got some laundry done, went to lunch with my mom, stepdad and brothers for my Mom's birthday. I also got to go out last nite. I have a bowling league that I bowl on, on Wednesday nites. We got there early to make up for last week of not bowling but there were leagues going on...so we went to La Senorita and had some dinner. We got back to the bowling alley and bowled our normal league. We took 2 outta 3 games and totals. We decided to make up our bowling games after we got done with our first 3 games. We started bowling on the lanes right next to the ones we were on...At one point I was up to bowl on 3 lanes at the same time. It was crazy and I got so worn out. Once our regular games were over I was able to relax and concentrate instead of bowling like a maniac. When I got home I COULD NOT sleep! I was wired so I worked on my CJ all nite long. I was antsy to get things done but with the rest of the family sleeping I didn't want to wake anybody. I was still productive. Now I'm dead tired but if I keep moving today I will be fine. I might take a nap this afternoon.

Today I plan on taking care of the basement stairway, playroom, family room, dishes, some laundry, organizing my scrapbooking paper, and working on the master closet. We'll see how I do! I have a long list to keep me moving so I'd better get to it! Toodles!

The Upstairs is Done!!

Yesterday, I got the hallway and stairway cleaned! That means the upstairs of this house is unpacked, organized, and cleaned! YAY! It feels so good! I also worked on my Control Journal yesterday and it feels good to have a plan in place. I didn't get to organizing my scrapbooking paper yesterday as I was working on my Control Journal. I have a nice array of cleaning, organizing, unpacking, laundry, dishes, and fun stuff to do, as well as child care.

Today I plan on focusing on the master closet. Getting our clothes unpacked and hung up. That will be nice to know where all of my clothes are. Other than that I'm just gonna be doing general cleaning and a little bit of crafts. I do have to go to lunch with my mom today to celebrate her birthday. Thankfully someone else will be there so she can't say anymore comments. Well I have a long list today so I'd better keep this post short and get busy! Toodles!

Not much done!

Yesterday I didn't get much done cleaning wise. I was feeling weird, light headed, especially when I stood up so I took it easy yesterday. I did get the stuff on the hallway floor organized into piles like clothes for laundry, toys, the popcans in a bag, and gathered the trash and got that in a bag. I also threw all of the cardboard downstairs and had Erek take that out for me. I just need to clean the cobwebs, walls, trim, finish decluttering the floor, and vacuum and the hallway is done. Then I just need to do the stairway and this floor is done! I'm feeling much better today and hope to get it all done.

Yesterday the UPS man also delivered my scrapbooking paper organizers so that's going to be my project for after the kids go to bed. I will get them all sorted and put into the organizers and get the organizers into place. I'm gonna have to move the blue dresser over just a bit but I need to get the paper off of it first or I'll be playing 1,000 paper pick-up.

I'm also working on making a Control Journal for the new house. I'm doing pretty good with that so far. I do need to do some laundry today as I have no clean pants, other than pajama pants, to wear. I HATE doing laundry.

Erek has a dealing job downstate again and that means I'll be on my own with the kids for dinner and bedtime and such. That should keep me busy for a few hours this evening but after they go to bed, I plan to get a lot of my 'wants' done for the day. Well Erek just woke up so I need to get that hallway and stairway done so I can get the rest of my routines done. Will check in later tonight with a progress report or tomorrow morning like usual. The Kid's Rooms are Clean!!

I was really motivated yesterday morning and got all three of the kid's rooms decluttered, cleaned and organized. Feels REALLY good. I even got their bedding washed and dryed. I know I did laundry, what a concept.

Today I am going to be getting the hallway and the stairway cleaned and that means the top level of this house is D-O-N-E!

I think after I get the top level done I will focus on the master bedroom area. I really want an oasis and calming area to relax in and go to sleep. It will be so nice to have our clothing hung and put away!

I still need to declutter the desks of pop cans and dishes and then I will take pictures of the office, kid's bath, kid's rooms, hallway, and stairway. I'll probably take those tomorrow morning. You will be so impressed! Well as soon as the baby is done eating I'm going to get busy on that hallway! Toodles for now!

The Kid's Bathroom

Well since I finished the office the other day I got to move onto some other projects around the house. I got the kid's bathroom cleaned yesterday. That took me all day but it felt good to get it done. They make such a mess in there! Gotta love living in a house full of boys. Today I plan on getting the boys' rooms cleaned and their bedding washed. I would also like to get the crib set up for Alex to start sleeping in. It will be very weird to not have him sleeping next to me. I love being able to reach over and touch him or make sure he's covered up, or put his pacifier back in. Won't be long tho and Logan will be in the co-sleeper next to me.

I would also like to straighten and clean the hallway and stairway. Once I get the kid's rooms cleaned and the hallway and stairway done I get to move to the main floor of the house. It will be so nice to have everything unpacked AND organized!

I went to Michael's yesterday and picked up some pictures to hang on the walls in the office. I got another scrapbooking storage drawer, 8 picture frames, 8 pictures, markers, and 10 storage containers for my fabric quarters for $80 yesterday. I say I did pretty good! Maybe I'll make putting those pictures in the frames my project for tonight. Then I can get Erek to hang them on the walls this week sometime.

Well I'd better get busy so I can get my chores done for today and still have time to enjoy the race. Will try to check in with a progress report later tonight! Toodles!

THE OFFICE IS DONE!!!

Well a lot happened yesterday but all for the good. I started the day off with absolutely no motivation. Then around 1 pm my ob office called to inform me that my glucose test came back good but i'm severly anemic. It makes sense really and don't know why I didn't have them check sooner, especially with my history of being anemic through my other pregnancies. So I stopped by the pharmacy and picked up an iron supplement and what a difference. I managed to get the rest of the office done!!!! I just need to take care of the desk tops a bit before I can take pictures. I still need to get my scrapbooking desk together but I can do that today now that I have the hardware I need. I also need Erek to hook the TV up to the cable jack, but I'll have him do that when he wakes up.

Today I am working on the rest of the upstairs. Each room shouldn't take me too long with there being virtually nothing in the kids rooms. I have cleaned the kid's bathroom once so far already but they have got toothpaste all over the counter and such and I just want it to gleam! I think I'm going to do a sunny yellow in their bathroom to bring out the yellow accents in the shower curtain. Well I'm gonna get busy on the upstairs of the house now! Toodles!

Still in the Office

Good morning readers! I was still working in the office yesterday, but boy did I get a lot done! I got all of the books into the bookshelf except for maybe a few stray books! I got the entertainment center dusted and the legos stacked on top of it. I took care of all of the old pop cans, food, and old coffee. I unpacked 2 boxes and put most of the items away. Today I just need to declutter the desks, clean then, clean my scrapbooking surfaces, clean the window, declutter the floor and then vacuum and this room will be organized! I'll be so happy when this place is done and I can move on to other parts of the house! I should have this room finished by the end of today! Once I am done with the office I will be cleaning the kids bathroom, Andrew's room, Nikolas's room, and Alex's room. I will get Erek to set up the crib in Alex's room and get his bedding washed. Once those are done I will be cleaning the hallway and the upstairs of this house will be good to go!

As far as the kid's bathroom goes, I have no idea what color to paint the walls. I know your note suppose to do green or blue in the bathroom but the shower curtain has different shades of blues and greens and then yellow and orange. I want some bright and cheerful in there for the kids. To take them up in the morning and get them moving for the day. I could do a yellow...that might now be so bad. I'll have to look through my idea books and get some better ideas.

For Andrew's room I think I'll do a blue, for Nikolas's room a green, and for Alex's room I want to do a pale yellow on the top half of the wall and a subdued lime green on the bottom half and then install a chair rail to separate the two. I think I'll leave the hallway the color it is now.

Well I want to get busy on the office and get that finished up today, so I'll leave you for now.

Still Organizing the Office

Well I'm still in the office today. I did get through some boxes last nite and got the books from one of the boxes over by the bookshelf. I need Erek to move the bookshelf into place before I can put the books away. I also need to adjust the shelves a bit before I can put the books away. Then I got extremely sleepy and went to bed, but I felt a good sense of accomplishment.

This morning I got to sleep in and have had a slu of company. My stove did get delivered today and hooked up so I can cook again. YAY!! I have gotten some rather big projects done between all of the company I've had. I got my brads and stamping stuff organized into the bins, folded all of my fabric quarters, and got half of a drawer organizer put together. My poor finger has a blister from putting the organizer together yesterday. I asked Erek and he said he will finish putting it together for me. My next step is to get Erek to move the bookshelf in place and then I can adjust the shelves and put the books in there. After that I get to take care of some piles of books and more scrapbooking stuff. Then I'll be ready to move onto decluttering the desks. That should be fun with all of my popcans. After that I just need to clean off the surfaces in this room and declutter the floor, clean the window and vacuum and this room will be done. I'd better get to it or it'll never get done!

Organizing the Office

I want this space to be inspirational for my crafting. I will be doing most of my crafting in this room and I want it to bring my ideas to life. This is especially important for my scrapbooking. I have so many ideas for albums. Along with being inspirational the space has to be motivational. On days when I'm in a bipolar low I want a place I can go to that will ease my symptoms. I want a place that is serene! When I get back to school I will use this space to study, so the color cannot be overwhelming. I want there to be fabulous, homemade pictures on the wall. I would also like to hang some pictures of the kids and our whole family on the walls in cool, crisp white picture frames. I want matching curtains and blinds to create privacy but also to allow the sun to shine in when wanted. I want the bookshelves organized; I want my scrapbooking desk to be straightened and clear; I want my desk to be free of clutter and popcans and such; I want the floor to be decluttered and vacuumed regularly. These things are what will drive me to work hard to create the space I desire and envision!

Here's where I'm at today:

My scrapbooking area is partially put together. I'm waiting on the brackets to put the desktops on. I also need to get Erek to hang my embellishment center on the far wall. Most of the stuff is put away in drawers or cubbies that are organized. I am also waiting on my paper organizers to come so I can sort my papers and get them put away. Oh I also need to organize my brads area. Once these things are done the area will be perfect! As far as the entertainment center goes that is pretty much set. The TV just needs to be hooked up to the cable jack. I would like something to hang over the entertainment center or some decorative items to put on top of the entertainment center. For the bookshelves. I have most of the books in their place I just need to organize them better. My desk is atrosious. It has popcans everywhere, it needs to be dusted and cleaned and I have some books and a box that need to be taken care of. DH's desk has some binders and more books that needs to be dealt with, then cleaned and organized. I still need to finish decluttering the floor and vacuum and then this room will be ready for paint! I can do this! 15 minutes at a time!
